Once I started this book I couldn't stop, I needed to know how it would end!!! So much happened in the first book and when I started this book I needed answers, I was so happy when she ended up with Sandy that I might have even hugged my kindle!! With Arien coming back into town messes up all that is well in the perfect world of Melissa and Sandy, and I needed to see what kinda mess Melissa would get herself into this time. I PRAYED she wouldn't fall for Arien again and that she wouldn't go back to him. I got to the end of the book and I am looking at the % going NO WAY she can finish this story with such little % left, there must be a book 3 and I hope it comes out SOON!!! I can't wait to get my hands on it and see what Melissa has in store for us next!Product details

Mellifica Wait for Me eBook Melissa Mayberry Reviews
This was an enjoyable read that took me away from the everyday reality, and let me forget about anything that was bothering me.
It moved along at a good pace, has interesting characters and a story that will keep you entertained throughout.
Melissa Mayberry is a talented author and I am looking forward to reading more by her in the future.
This is book 2 in the series and I have to say I loved it. It held my attention better than the first one did and I read that one in one sitting, also this one just seemed a little more interesting to me. This girl is just so confused over these guys and one just seems to like messing with her mind to the point she becomes ill. I am so thankful I am not a teenager again and did not have the problems she has had.
I love Melissa Mayberry's writing! I don't recall ever having such a love/hate relationship with a main character. The character, Mel Quinn, is quite complex. I wanted her to find love. I wanted her to find happiness. It was right there within her grasp, then she does everything she possibly can to destroy. So I'm screaming at the pages No, Mel! Don't do it!!! Does she listen? Hell no. But what did occur was I was kept glued to my seat and turning pages to find out what she would do next and how it would all pan out. What a rollercoaster of emotions this book sets in motion.
Arien and Sandy both want Mel. And she wants them. And then she doesn't. And then she wants one of them — no not that one, the other one. And just when I settle in and think, "I can live with that," Mel Quinn hits the 'shit hit the fan' button and it all blows up — until she decides, okay, maybe it is the other one after all. It becomes emotional torment for the reader and makes for an extraordinary story.
Ms. Mayberry uses her superior skill to take a character who one could easy dismiss and say, "Serves you right, wench," but instead has the reader eating out of her hand, willing Mel to come to her senses and stop working toward her own self destruction. I could often feel myself gripping my kindle tighter as the tension and drama increased. She did what an author is supposed to do, and brought the reader into the story. A true talent.
I loved it!
This book should come with a warning You will want to throw you kindle... OFTEN!
Mayberry's conclusion of Melissa's trials and failures in the world of young love is spectacularly written and left me biting my nails to see how it would resolve. Mayberry does a masterful job of connecting the reader with the characters. I fell in love with some and have seething hatred for others. Wait for Me sucks you in and doesn't let go even after you read the last page!
I dealt enjoyed this book as well as the first book. I must say I was tempted to take whit out to my kindle to get rid of Arien once and for all

Okay, so Mellifica totally gutted me. Tore my heart out and fed it back to me several times. Left me needing to know more!
And guess what? It's all right here. Mellifica's Wait for Me totally sucked me in as did Mellifica.
Oh the little jerk returns (spoiler free here!!!) and he's... well, you just want to strangle him. And Melissa Quinn, bless her heart for the merry hell he tries to put her through. I loved her strength, how she didn't let little Mr. Jerk toy with her. And that retched woman. Ug! I'd like to take her by her black hair and swing her round and round and then let go! That nasty, nasty cougar wench. She's just... GROSS! You'll see.
Now don't get me wrong, Melissa has a few piss-me-off moments too. Why the hell did she do this, or that... and I wanted to shake her and ask "why in the name of all sanity would you do that? Why oh why?!" But then part of me understood.
There's some new character's introduced, one in particular that I really liked. She's the perfect friend for Melissa. Soooo. Without adding any spoilers, I can totally say this was fantastic! LOVED every single page!
And say what? I think a little snitch told me there may be a third book? Oh snitchy I hope you're right!
By far one of the best YA/NA angst ridden, heart stealing, gut wrenching, and emotionally satisfying series out there.
The writing is very good. She does a great job at making all of the characters real and paints a vivid picture of the different situations. I would have VERY much enjoyed one more paragraph telling us if she ever saw Adien again, or if she and Sandy dated any more or became friends. In general, telling us what happened to each of them.
